On June 23, 2005, Naval Weapons Station celebrated the grand opening of its 85-site Recreation Vehicle (RV) Resort Park. The RV Resort features 50 ft. x 20 ft. pads complete with direct hookups to water, electricity, direct TV, wireless internet service and sewage.  The attractive landscaping throughout the Resort compliments Naval Weapons Station’s existing Quality of Life facilities.

The Seabreeze RV Resort has a distinctive, but warm registration office where friendly staff is available Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.  A Camp Host is available after normal business hours.  Additionally, five service support facilities have been built at the Resort to accommodate the customer’s needs.  They include a state-of-the-art bathroom and showers complex, laundry facility, group cabanas and barbeque, fitness walk/run trail and RV wash bay.

Amenities within walking distance include Navy Exchange Mini-Mart, restaurant and lounge co-located within a recreation center, park and picnic area that includes covered cabanas, barbeque grills, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits and children’s playground.  For the sports enthusiast, lighted tennis courts, a 27-hole championship golf course and a full service fitness center is readily available.
