Outdoor Adventure Center at NAS Lemoore knows how to live up to its name. For those who wish to “getaway”, OAC rents a variety of outdoor related equipment from camping trailers and ski boats to tents and sleeping bags. There’s horseshoes, BBQ’s and ice chests also. You’ll find it all at OAC. There’s even Santa Suits available. The A-Frame Camping Trailer is a very popular item, and can be used for camping through out the year. Our A-Frame Trailers are insulated and come loaded with sleeping arrangements for four adults, two burner stove, sink, mini ice box and hook ups for water and electric power. They also have a battery for lighting and propane tank attached to the trailer for your stove.
Summer brings boating season to OAC. From a new pontoon boat to Ski Boats and Wave Runners, OAC has your weekend at the lake planned. There’s even fishing boats for the river or into the lake. The King’s River just outside NAS Lemoore has Catfish, Small-Mouth Bass and Crappie just waiting to jump on your hook. Make your reservations up to a year in advance for all major equipment rentals. We also have water skis, wakeboards and even a tube to keep you cool and wet all summer long. Also available are kayaks and canoes for your paddling adventure.

It is MWR policy in order for you to rent motorized boats and jet skis to have a Ca. Boating Safety Certificate and a Personal Watercraft Safety Certificate for jet skis you will also need to check-out and view our DVD. Bring in your completed exam certificate(s) and we’ll keep them on file for your convenience.

Winter fun starts at OAC with snow skis, snowboards, toboggans and snow saucers for you to enjoy the slopes on. Sierra Summit ski resort is our most popular destination for skiers and snow fans.  Snow season normally opens in November and can run through April. We have snowshoes and even tire chains to get you to the mountains and back safe sound.
For your upcoming birthday party or social gathering we have a Water Slide & Bounce House and Dunk Tank for your guests to enjoy. Make sure you have enough tables and chairs on hand, if you don’t, we do.  Want to sit under the shade we have pop-up canopies also.
Stop by the OAC located across from the Car Wash to visit with the friendly staff on where to go and what to do. We’ll make sure you are properly outfitted with gear to make your adventure complete.

RV & Boat Storage
The MWR Department offers base personal with a large RV and boat storage compound suited for more recreational vehicles. This popular service can make owning an RV or boat in base easy but due to its popularly, we often times have a waiting list!

Deployment Parking
For military deployments the OAC has your parking issues covered with a 210 space fenced parking area dedicated for deployments only. Upon you return the OAC Staff is always available to help you with dead batteries, flat tires, and most problems related to long term storage.
